Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User," "you," or "your") and SCIVYT Research Technologies Private Limited ("SCIVYT," "we," "us," or "our") governing your access to and use of our website, platforms (including YETZU, Submit Right, VITUOR, Beentu AI, and Nationcite), and related services (collectively, the "Services").

By accessing or using our Services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use our Services.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use our Services. If you are under 18, you represent that you have obtained parental or guardian consent. By using our Services, you represent and warrant that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms and comply with all applicable laws.

Our Services are primarily designed for educational institutions, researchers, students, educators, and professionals engaged in academic and research activities.

Account Registration and Security

To access certain features of our Services, you may be required to create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
• Maintain and promptly update your account information
• Maintain the security and confidentiality of your login credentials
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access or security breach
• Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account

SCIVYT reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or engage in fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activities.

Acceptable Use Policy

You agree to use our Services only for lawful, ethical, and academic purposes. You shall not:

• Violate any applicable laws, regulations, or third-party rights
• Engage in academic dishonesty, plagiarism, or research misconduct
• Submit false, misleading, or fabricated information
• Use our AI tools (Beentu AI) to generate fabricated research, false citations, or unethical content
• Manipulate, falsify, or misrepresent research metrics or citations
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or user accounts
• Distribute malware, viruses, or other harmful code
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users or SCIVYT personnel
• Scrape, mine, or extract data from our platforms without authorization
• Use automated systems or bots to access our Services
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble our software

Platform-Specific Terms

YETZU (Learning Platform)

• Institutional administrators are responsible for managing their cohorts, mentors, and learners
• Users must respect intellectual property rights of course materials and content
• Mentors and learners must maintain professional conduct and academic integrity

Submit Right (Publication Services)

• Users retain copyright and authorship of their submitted manuscripts
• SCIVYT provides editing and formatting services but does not claim ownership of content
• Users are responsible for the originality and ethical compliance of their research
• Payment for services does not guarantee journal acceptance

VITUOR (Medical Journal)

• All submissions must comply with ethical research standards and declaration requirements
• Peer review is conducted independently and does not guarantee publication
• Published articles are subject to open-access licensing terms
• Authors grant VITUOR non-exclusive rights to publish and distribute accepted manuscripts

Beentu AI (Academic Writing Assistant)

• Beentu AI is a writing assistance tool, not a content generation service
• Users remain solely responsible for the accuracy, originality, and integrity of their work
• AI-generated suggestions must be reviewed, validated, and properly attributed
• Users must not use Beentu AI to fabricate data, citations, or research findings

Nationcite (Research Visibility Platform)

• Researchers can claim and verify their profiles using ORCID authentication
• Data displayed is aggregated from public bibliometric databases and open-access sources
• Users may request corrections to inaccurate profile information through proper verification
• SCIVYT employs moderation and anti-gaming measures to ensure data integrity

Intellectual Property Rights

All content, features, and functionality of our Services, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, software, and design, are owned by SCIVYT or its licensors and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use our Services for their intended academic and professional purposes. This license does not include rights to:

• Reproduce, distribute, or publicly display SCIVYT content without permission
• Create derivative works based on our platforms
• Use SCIVYT trademarks, logos, or branding without authorization

User-Generated Content

When you submit content to our Services (including manuscripts, research data, profiles, or communications), you represent that:

• You own or have the necessary rights to submit such content
• The content is original, accurate, and does not infringe on third-party rights
• The content complies with ethical research standards and applicable laws

By submitting content, you grant SCIVYT a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, store, process, and display such content solely for the purpose of providing and improving our Services. You retain all ownership rights to your content.

Payment and Billing

Certain Services may require payment of fees. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete payment information
• Pay all applicable fees as described at the time of purchase
• Authorize SCIVYT to charge your designated payment method

All fees are non-refundable except as required by law or explicitly stated in our refund policy. SCIVYT reserves the right to modify pricing with reasonable notice.

Disclaimers and Limitations

OUR SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

SCIVYT does not guarantee:

• Uninterrupted, error-free, or secure operation of our Services
• Acceptance or publication of manuscripts submitted through our platforms
• Accuracy or completeness of research data or metrics
• Specific academic or career outcomes from using our Services

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SCIVYT SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR USE, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OUR SERVICES, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

IN NO EVENT SHALL SCIVYT'S TOTAL LIABILITY EXCEED THE AMOUNT PAID BY YOU TO SCIVYT IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless SCIVYT, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from:

• Your use or misuse of our Services
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your infringement of third-party rights
• Your submission of inaccurate, fraudulent, or unlawful content

Termination

SCIVYT reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access to our Services at any time, with or without notice, for violation of these Terms, fraudulent activity, or any other reason at our sole discretion.

Upon termination, your right to use our Services will immediately cease. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall remain in effect, including intellectual property rights, disclaimers, and limitations of liability.

Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of our Services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Hyderabad, Telangana, India.

Before initiating formal legal proceedings, parties agree to attempt good-faith resolution through negotiation and mediation.

Changes to These Terms

SCIVYT reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes by posting the updated Terms on our website with a revised "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of our Services after such changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

Severability and Waiver

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect. SCIVYT's failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.
